2026-27 Registration

Families are encouraged to complete registration before Sunday, July 12, to ensure class schedules/assignments and transportation assignments are ready for the first day of school. Your child(ren) will not be guaranteed class schedules/assignments and/or transportation assignments by the first day of school if registration is done after that date.

ParentSquare

District 7 is excited to launch ParentSquare as our new districtwide communication platform for the 2026-27 school year. ParentSquare will be the primary way families receive school and district communications, including messages from teachers, principals, coaches, and district administrators.

To ensure you receive important information throughout the school year, please activate and verify your ParentSquare account before the first day of school.

Option 1: Activate through your invitation

Families received an email invitation from ParentSquare. Simply click the activation link and follow the prompts to set up your account.

Option 2: Access your account directly

If you do not have your invitation or the invitation link has expired, visit the ParentSquare sign-in page and go to Register. Enter the email address or mobile phone number associated with your student's registration records.

School-day hours are: 

• Primary Schools (9:20 a.m. - 3:35 p.m.)
• Intermediate Schools (9:10 a.m. - 3:25 p.m.)
• Middle Schools (7:50 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.) Liberty Bell Schedule | Lincoln Bell Schedule

School Meals

Full-paid prices: 

• Breakfast: $1.70
• Lunch: $4.05

Apply for Free & Reduced Price Meals

District #7 encourages all families to complete the annual Free & Reduced-Price Meal application. Eligibility is based on household size and income, and qualifying families may receive free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch for their students.

Applying is confidential. Information submitted on the application is used only to determine eligibility, and students receiving free or reduced-price meals are not identified to other students, staff, or families.

Completing an application may also help families qualify for additional educational programs and resources.

A new application must be submitted each school year, even if your family qualified previously. Students approved for free or reduced-price meals may continue receiving benefits for the first 30 school days of the new school year while a new application is being processed.

Families may apply at any time during the school year if their household size or financial circumstances change. Eligibility can be updated based on the information provided in a new application.

Families can complete the application online (English | Spanish). We encourage all families to apply if they believe they may qualify.

Class and Bus Assignments

 

Schedule and bus information will be released on the following dates:

• Secondary (6-12): Friday, August 7 at 4 p.m.
• Elementary (PK-5): Wednesday, August 12 at 4 p.m.

Families can access student schedules, bus assignments, and route information through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Important Transportation Update for 2026-27
Bus assignments and route information will be housed in PowerSchool during the 2026-27 school year. Please note this is just originally assigned routes and not any district approved alternate routes.

The FirstView app will continue to be available for real-time bus tracking; however, route assignments and transportation details should be accessed through PowerSchool.

About FirstView

The FirstView mobile app allows parents and caregivers to track their child's bus to and from school each day. The app is available both iOS and Android devices.
